When building your family becomes a source of anxiety.

Therapy for women navigating infertility, IVF, fertility treatment, reproductive uncertainty, and the emotional weight of trying to become a mother.

Virtual therapy for women in New York

Fertility treatment can turn your life into appointments, numbers, waiting, and uncertainty.

I understand how consuming that experience can be.

Fertility treatment can ask you to live in a state of constant anticipation, injections, procedures, bloodwork, monitoring, waiting for results, and trying to make sense of numbers that can suddenly feel like they determine your future.

And then there is everything outside of the medical treatment, keeping appointments around work, deciding who to tell, navigating intrusive questions, watching friends become pregnant, managing relationship stress, and wondering whether you are somehow doing something wrong.

You may begin to feel disconnected from your body, as though it has become a project to monitor, measure, and fix. You may find yourself constantly calculating timing, preparing for the next step, and simultaneously trying not to get your hopes up because you know how painful another disappointment can be.

I know how personal and emotionally exhausting this process can be because I have experienced fertility treatment myself. That experience deepened my understanding of how much can happen beneath the surface, the grief, uncertainty, frustration, hope, and fear that can be difficult to explain to people who have not lived it. Therapy was an important part of how I navigated that experience, and it is one of the reasons I feel so strongly about supporting others through theirs.

You deserve a space where you can be a person, not a patient, and where your emotional experience matters just as much as what is happening medically.

You might be here because…

  • You're exhausted by the process

The appointments, medications, procedures, monitoring, and waiting have begun to consume your physical and emotional energy.

  • Fertility treatment is affecting more than you expected

It's becoming harder to balance treatment with work, relationships, family expectations, your sense of self, and the rest of your life.

Therapy can give you somewhere to put everything you're carrying.

  • Processing grief and loss

Make space for pregnancy loss, failed cycles, failed transfers, and the grief that can accompany a fertility journey—without being told to simply move on.

  • Managing anxiety and uncertainty

Develop tools for navigating the waiting, uncertainty, intrusive thoughts, and fear that can accompany each stage of treatment.

  • Coping with the emotional impact of treatment

Explore the frustration, anger, sadness, exhaustion, and loss of control that can emerge when treatment begins to dominate your life.

  • Navigating relationships

Work through differences in how you and your partner cope, communicate, make decisions, and experience the fertility journey.

  • Protecting your emotional boundaries

Learn how to respond to intrusive questions, pregnancy announcements, family expectations, and situations that feel emotionally overwhelming.

  • Finding yourself outside of fertility treatment

Reconnect with the parts of your identity, relationships, work, and life that existed before fertility became such a significant part of your story.

Fertility treatment can be difficult to explain to someone who hasn't experienced the emotional uncertainty that comes with it.

I have personally experienced fertility treatment, and that experience deepened my understanding of how profoundly the process can affect your emotional well-being, relationships, sense of control, and relationship with your own body.

It also showed me the value of having a space where you can be honest about what you're feeling without needing to make it sound positive, rational, or manageable.

My approach integrates DBT, ACT, attachment-based therapy, and compassion-focused work to help you navigate anxiety, grief, uncertainty, relationship stress, and the complicated emotions that can accompany fertility treatment.

My personal experience informs my empathy, but your experience is always your own. Therapy is about making space for your story not comparing it to mine.

Therapy informed by both clinical training and lived understanding.

Questions you may be asking

You don't have to carry all of this alone.

Fertility treatment can take up an enormous amount of physical and emotional space. Therapy can give you somewhere to process what you're experiencing, make room for the feelings that don't always have a place elsewhere, and reconnect with yourself beyond the treatment.

You deserve a space where you can be honest about what this journey has been like.
